Pentre-traeth (S.W.View, Griffith's text)

The remains of this Cromlech lie on a slight eminence, in a wet marshy place near the banks of Crigyll river, on the left hand of the road that leads to Pentre-traeth farm from Llanfaelog. At present there are only about fifteen of the largest stones left. Many of these have been dislodged from their original position, and afterwards found too heavy to be easily removed for walling or other purposes. The largest one lies near the middle of the group, and is twenty-two feet six inches in circumference, and averages from two feet and a half to three feet and a half in thickness. (See Arch. Camb. Vol.II p.51 1871)
